Description

Project consists of clearing, grading and decommissioning access roads. Work will include clearing, grading, excavation, removal of CMP, drop inlets, placing of geotextile, placement of riprap, mulching and seeding. Project is located in Siskiyou County on the Klamath National Forest, Happy Camp, CA. From Yreka, proceed north on State Highway 263 to the junction of Highway 96. Turn west onto highway 96 (also known as the Klamath River Highway) and proceed approximately 64 miles to Happy Camp. From Happy Camp proceed 5.5 miles on County Road 7C001 to the junction with Forest Road 16N05(also known as Elk Creek Road). Due to requirements to protect threatened aquatic and wild life species, a limited operating season will be required. Unless otherwise agreed no work shall be performed between October 15 and April 15. Price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Conract time is 45 calendar days, with an estimated start date of June 13, 2001.
