Description

The work under this contract consists of the general construction of a new site water distribution system for the buildings and grounds of the Watch Hill Marina of the Fire Island National Seashore located in Suffolk County, New York. The work includes the installation of a backflow-preventor at the Marina, approximately 2200 feet of 8 inch PVC Class 150 pipe, CLDI pipe, polyethylene pipe,12 fire hydrants, 1 standpipe with a 2 1/2" connection, complete with all appurtenances, connected to the existing system and buildings, tested and disinfected. This procurement is open to both large and small business. The range for the Government estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000.
