Description

ITEM 1, BRAUN FOLDER/CROSS FOLDER & STACKER, 1 each: Remove trade-in, furnish and install one (1) each Model #4PF3CF/A microprocessor-controlled folder/cross folder & stacker.Four lane combination folder-cross-folder and stacker shall be an integral unit equipped with a conveyor feed and capable of meeting ironer production requirements. The folder Crossfolder shall also be equipped with a four-lane drape stacker. Production -- 1080 sheets per hour, 980 pillowcases per hour, 971 (36 inches X 36 inches) double thickness cotton surgical wraps per hour, 1439 (24 inches X 24 inches) double thickness cotton surgical wraps per hour. Salient features include: a. Model #4PF3CF/A Folder Cross Folder. 4 lane Braun Omega Primary Folder and single lane, 3 fold Crossfolder. b. 75 program microprocessor control with trouble shooting circuitry. c. Thru-scan LED infrared sensors requiring no reflectors. d. Production counter for each lane. e. Air-jet primary folds.f. Air-jet, pick-up blade and knife through pinch for first, second and third cross folds. g. Anti-static belts and static eliminator bar. h. Inverter-type, variable speed conveyor drive for use with the existing Delta Net Control. i. Right hand discharge. j. Caster mounted (lockable) for easy movement. k. Folder shall have reverse jog capability. l. Folder shall be equipped with a model SPA4, small piece accumulator, with microprocessor controls and totalizing counter for each lane. m. Electrical characteristics -- 480 volts, 3 phase, 60 cycles. n. The machines shall be equipped with an illuminating emergency stop button (colored RED) when activated, inter-locked with the entire ironing system and when activated shall render the entire ironing system spreader feeder, ironer, folder Crossfolder and stacker) inoperable. o. Folding machine shall be installed, leveled and have a leveling device installed on the machine. p. The four-lane folder crossfolder shall be capable of receiving small pieces from the flatwork ironer. q. Folder shall be equipped with a model LPSI, large piece stacker system with six (6) foot discharge conveyor, microprocessor controls. r. Stacker shall be equipped with a preset stack counter with infrared sensor. s. Stacker shall be equipped with four (4) or more lockable casters for easy movement.
