Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Washington, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on behalf of the U.S. Naval Observatory, 3450 Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20392 for Computer Software and Equipment. The list of items are as follows: a quantity (6) each KUBIK DVD-RAM 240-D containing 4 Panasonic DVD-RAM 4.7 GB per side capable DVD-RAM drives and 240 slots for DVD-RAM disk plus SCSI-2 interface; quantity (1440) each, Double-sided DVD-RAM bare media with 4.7 GB per side capacity. This will be awarded on an unrestricted basis for Full and Open Competition under FAR 6.101. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 421430 with standard of $5.0 million. All responsible sources may submit and offer, however, only items meeting the Navy's requirements will be considered for technical review. All offers must be received in this office no later than 2:00 p.m. (EST) on 17 May 2001.
