Description

The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville Ranger Districts, Apache County, Arizona requires pre-commercial thinning and chipping/piling on 3 blocks totaling an estimated 217 acres. Project can be reached by driving from Springerville, drive approximately 12 miles east on State Highway 260 to State Highway 373. Drive south on Highway 373 approximately 3.5 miles to Forest Road 87. Drive west and south on FR 87 approximately 1 mile to the project area. Plans and specifications will be available on or about Friday, April 27, 2001. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $99,999.
