Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to secure the services of aircraft and pilot on an "as needed" basis, fully operational for performance of aerial reconnaissance, personnel transportation and air freight flights in accordance with the specifications and aircraft and pilot qualifications set forth in the solicitation. Aerial detection of fires is the primary intent of this contract. This is a Request for Quotes requiring completion of a questionnaire; detailed technical proposals are not required; award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to aviation practices and past performance history in addition to price; award may be made without discussions. This is a requirements type contract; the amount of work shown is estimated only; there is not minimum quantity. See Numbered Note 26.
