Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, provides acquisition/administrative support services for the Dept. of Labor's Fort Simcoe Civilian Conservation Corps Center in White Swan, WA. The Center has a requirement for professional physician services for approximately 200 students enrolled at the Center. Services are to be performed at the Center. Services include, but are not limited to: initial routine physical exam of enrollees, medical history, diagnosis and treatment of illness and/or injury, immunizations, X-rays, referrals to specialists, on-call services, 24-hour emergency coverage, and access to inpatient care. Physicians performing services must be licensed in Washington State. The contractor will be required to provide physician coverage 8 hours per week minimum on center. Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price multi-year contract (for a single 5 year period) beginning on or about July 1, 2001. No information will be available for this solicitation, on the web-site, until this notice has been published a minimum of 15 days. A solicitation will be available in late April and we intend to issue it on line. However, if our web-site is inoperable we may issue on CD-ROM. You must submit an e-mail request to be included on the bidder's list for this solicitation. Please send your request to dlarrondo@pn.usbr.gov. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621111. This requirement will be a full and open competition. Any award will be based on the best value to the Government. We will evaluate past performance, experience, and price and price related factors to determine the best value. These factors are subject to change and the offerors will need to review sections L and M of the solicitation when the solicitation is issued. See numbered Note 26.
