Description

The US Department of Energy (DOE), Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), is conducting a market survey to identify small businesses capable of providing cyber security support and expertise. Vendors must indicate their capabilities and experience in the following areas: (1) experience working with government agencies in the cyber security area; (2) experience with DOE structure and cyber security environment; (3) experience in the development and coordination of enterprise-wide cyber security metrics; (4) experience in the Federal Capital Planning process, as it pertains to cyber security and experience supporting the 300B and Exhibit 53 process; (5) national level understanding of cyber security policy development and participation in national security forums; (6) experience with enterprise-wide security policy development; and (7) experience supporting a client whose organization is diverse and multi-cultural in the areas of: risk management, configuration management, federal programming and budgeting, key operational capabilities (PKI implementation, cyber security architecture implementation), classified systems accreditation, telecommunications security engineering and policy, common vulnerability exposure and cyber security program plan analysis. Vendors must have experienced staff personnel available to be called on for projects of various durations.
