Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), FAR Part 13. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-13. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) M67399-01-Q-0002 for Lodging. Clin 0001 nine (9) double rooms and one (1) single room. Clin 0001 period of performance will be from May 29, 2001 through July 4, 2001 (36 nights). Clin 0002 twelve (12) double rooms and three (3) single rooms. Clin 0002 period of performance is July 5, 2001 through July 13, 2001 (26 nights). Clin 0003 two (2) double rooms and two (2) single rooms. Clin 0003 period of performance will be from August 1, 2001 through August 3, 2001 (2 nights). All quotes/proposals will be limited to those facilities within ten (10) miles radius of the geographic area of the Marine Corps Base located in Twenty-nine Palms, Ca 92278 and to those that have adequate room capacity to accommodate the entire group of Marines. The following provisions and clauses shall apply: Provision FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. FAR Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies with the following applicable clauses form paragraph (b) . FAR 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontractors Sales to the Government, with Alternate 1, FAR 52.225-3 Buy American Act-Supplies. FAR 52.232-1 Payments. FAR 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party, DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, 252.204-7001 Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, FAR 52.232.33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contract Registration. DFAR 252.232-7009 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. PAYMENT OPTION. At the Government's option, payment may be made utilizing the Government Purchase Credit Card. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose quote, confirming to this combined CBD synopsis/solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
