Description

The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is soliciting interested bidders for the rental of hotel/motel rooms. Contract to provide all facilities and supervision necessary to reserve and obtain hotel/motel rooms for approximately 120 military personnel. Inclusive dates are from 4 May 01 through 13 May for an anticipated total of 675 bednites. Hotel/Motel accomodations shall be within a 10 mile radius of the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena Mi. The contractor shall reserve an additional 10 percent of rooms to accomodate changes in the personnel schedule. The contractor shall charge no more than the maximum allowable government approved lodging rate for the Alpena area. Current rates can be obtained at: www.dtic.mil/perdiem/pdrates.html. The range of this project is between 25,000 and 100,000 dollars. This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns. The NACIS code is 721110 with a business size of $5 million or less for small businesses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepard in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included inthis notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Nbr DAHA2001T0029 is issued under request for quotation proceedures. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisitiion Circular 97-21. The provision 52.212-1 Instructions on Offerors -- - Commercial Items applies. Evaluation factors: Contractor shall demonstrate the ability to billet all personnel, no partial bids can be considered. The facility shall be within a 10 mile radius of the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Facility. Daily rates shall not exceed the maximum allowable government lodging rate for this area. Successful offeror must complete a copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications -- - Commercial Items prior to award which is available from the web site: www.arnet.gov/far. the following clauses are in effect and apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, 52.212-5 (DEV) Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders.
