Contractor to provide labor, supplies and materials, to do lead paint abatement at the Hayhurst House (HS-10) and the Mackey House (HS-18) at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, West Branch, Iowa. Work includes temporary removal of selected window sashes, doors, and associated millwork and hardware; the in-place removal of lead containing paint finishes from the exterior and interior surfaces of selected millwork; the removal of lead containing paint finishes from window sashes, doors, and hardware in a controlled environment, finish sanding of affected millwork. Solicitation No. Q647001001, NAICS 562910. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000.
