FIXED AIRCREW SEAT STANDARDIZATION(FASS), DUE 043001, POC TIM SMITH, Project Manager, CACI-ASG, 210.735.1903. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this notice is to identify sources with the capability to manufacture standardized fixed-style, aircrew seats crash-worthy to 16Gs for US Air Force cargo and transport-type fixed wing aircraft. CACI-ASG intends to release a draft performance specification for the potential manufacture of these standardized seats within 90 days from 30 April 2001 for review. Interested vendors should notify Mr. Tim Smith in writing prior to COB 04/30/01. At some point in the future a bid package including an approved performance specification will be provided for bid purposes to each respondent. Facsimile requests will be accepted at (210) 734-8872.
