45-Steam Traps with Trap Alert Monitoring Device Steam Traps, Armstrong Model 1811PC, with "Trap Alert" monitoring device. Total quantity, 265 each, includes 102 Indoor traps: (13 each with 1/2" connections and 89 each with 3/4" connections), and 163 Outdoor traps: (44 each with 1/2" connections and 119 each with 3/4" connections). Deliver on or before 04 June 2001. FOB Destination at Hill Air Force Base UT 84056. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this purchase is 22133. The size standard is $9million. This Solicitation is a Request For Quote, number F42650-01-Q-0053. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. All quotes responsive to the terms of this announcement will be considered. All required information must be received on or before 2 May 2001 at 4:30 pm Mountain Standard Time. The anticipated award date is 07 May 2001. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This purchase isn't set aside. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criteria in descending order of importance are: (i), technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, (ii), price, and (iii), past performance (see FAR 15.304). All evaluation factors are approximately equal to cost or price. Include a completed coy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with your quote. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
