Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns. Contractor must quote on all items listed. FOB: Destination for delivery to Lackland AFB, TX, by 10 May 01. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24, NAICS code is 421690, the size standard is 500 employees. Note that 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition, the clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. Offerors must include with their offers a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Confirmation of CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on meeting the requirement, evaluation of lowest price, and responsible offer/quote.
