- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The assigned RFQ number is DAAB07-01-Q-N209. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The standard industrial code for this product is 3621. The NAICS code is 335312. The small business size standard is 500. Offerors are being requested to provide quotes for Contract Line Item 001: Noise Generator, NSN 6625-00-489-4312, P/O AN/TPQ-36/37 Firefinder. Quantity 45 each. Proposed acquisition to be firm fixed price contract. Description of Requirements: The Noise Generator is a portable, hand-held, testing tool designed for use in the lab or in the field for noise figure measurement and receiver testing. Metal encased, solid state. Frequency range 1 to 12.4 GHZ. Excess noise ratio DB 15.5 PORM 1. Calibration frequency 1, 2, 3.95, 8.2, 12.4 GHZ. ENR accuracy DB PORM 0.3. VSWR 1.2 max. Output connector N male; Input connector BNC female. Input requirements 28 volts at less than 30 MA. Measurements: 4 inches long; 0.937 inches wide; 0.812 inches high. Packaging and packing shall be IAW contractor's best commercial packaging, ASTM-D-3951. Bar Code Markings are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BCI, USSC 39 and MIL-STD 129. Delivery F.O.B. Destination to be made to: XU Transportation Officer, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, Building Mission Door 113-134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 by 22 May 2001. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with each offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised that the applicable clauses will be incorporated into the contract at contract award.
