Description

This acquisition is for Paging service that will provide coverage for areas in the State of Louisiana, Region wide for the South Central US region (must include Sate of Louisiana and adjacent states) and Nation wide for at least the 48 continental United States. Currently 245 paging subscriptions are being used -- 240 region wide and 5 on nation wide, but this is subject to change. The service shall also include at least 300 calls allowed per paging address per month before an overcall charge is assessed. 95% Reliability Rate shall be determined by conducting at least 100 test pages at locations within the hospital, other facilities where staff work or live and within the 60 mile radius of the hospital building. The US Army Medical Department Activity currently uses NEC Message Maker Exec, Motorola Bravo Lifestyle, Motorola LS350 and Motorola LS750 pagers. The service shall be compatible with these pagers and their current range of functioning. Currently they are operating on frequency 152.4800 mHZ. This acquisition will be a contract with a base period through 30 Sep 01 and Four one year options, processed under Commercial Item procedures. SEE Note 1.
