Description
This information is being released to search the market for potienial business that can produce a docking station to the following scope of work. The equipment desired is a Aircraft Maintenance Docking Station consisting of the following: Four Multi Tiered Maintenance Platforms , which shall suraround the Nose, Left Hand, Right Hand,and Tail Section of the CH-47D Cargo Helicopter. The system shall be designed to support maintenance from ground level to the top of the rotor system. The complete docking system shall comprise of four platforms assembled together. Each platform shall be easily maneuverable and can be separated from the other platforms. Platform stairways shall be provided to access the top of the aircraft. The complete docking system shall permit access to all areas and parts of the helicopter without the need to move any platforms or stairs once it is assembled in place around the helicopter. The platform shall be constructed from aluminum and have swivel wheels of 200mm with brakes. The wheels shall be of hard rubber like material able to withstand oils and hydraulic fluid contamination. All areas of the platform tangent to the aircraft will be protected with rubber like fenders. The system must be able to be disassembled, transported, and reassembled at various locations. The system shall have A/C electrical power outlets and compressed air outlets at strategic locations on each of the four platforms. Electrical receptacles shall be configured for 220V/50Hz AC. Air outlets shall be configured to operate at a pressure of 90-120 psi. Publications shall be provided to support repair/upkeep of the system, to include repair parts and procedurees. Commercial publications are sufficient. initial setup and installation of the system shall include training on how to setup, disassemble, and reassemble the system as well as maintenance techniques for the equipment.
