Description

This is a combined synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army, Natick Mass. is in the process of upgrading base telephone/communications. This project includes the monthly maintenance premire coverage requirements. The government is seeking the following commercial items: All items are manufacture specific or equivalent Item Qty Mfg. CommVault Systems Premier Coverage for Large Cabinet 11 Months CommVault Sys CommVault Systems Premier Coverage for Small Cabinet 11 Months CommValut Sys Period of Coverage will be October 1, 2001 to August 31, 2002. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing. If quoting FOB Origin, include city/state and estimated shipping cost. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/RFQ to the responsible contractor whose quotation, conforming to this RFQ, which is the lowest price, and most advantageous to the Government. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, delivery schedule and satisfactory past performance record. The government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. Incorporated provisions and clauses are as follows. FAR Provision 52.212-1, applies to this acquisition. Offer shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, which may be accessed on the Internet (http:''www.arnet.gov/far/). Additional applicable FAR Clauses: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, 52.225-15, 52.232-33, 52.232-34 and GSAM Clause 552.212-71, 552.229-70 apply. Note: Oral price quotations will not be accepted for this procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted Melinda Carlson, not later than April 25, 2001.
