Description

The work consists of ensuring facilities are maintained to commercially acceptable levels and includes the following types of work; Facility Maintenance and Repair, General Demolition and Construction, Cooling Tower and Chemical Treatment, High Voltage Electrical System Maintenance, Boiler Plant operations and Support, Landscape Maintenance, and Snow Removal. Other tasks include Inspection and Abatement of Asbestos Containing material when necessary. There are approximately 20 Buildings which are on average, 38 years old, located on 78 Acres. There will be a base period of 1 year with an option to extend the term of the contract for four additional 1-year periods. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed price type contract. The Offerors will be evaluated on past performance, organization structure, ability to provide rapid response and price. This will be a contract with a maximum $2 million dollar base year limit with four $2 Million Dollar one-year options. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 561210 with a size standard of $5,000,000.00. Solicitation shall be made available via the Internet on or about 7 May 2001.
