Description

Synopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Acadia National Park Project ACAD ITS, Hancock County, Maine. The project consists of installing traffic counting and classification instruments at various locations throughout the park, providing a computer workstation for gathering data from these devices, and providing maintenance of the system for 2 years. The work includes installation of traffic detectors, supporting housing, electrical, and communications equipment for operation by wireless and direct line connections (site specific). The project is expected to fall within the price range of $250,000 to $500,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about May 1, 2001. Bids will be due 30 days after the issue date.
