Description

This acquisition is being offered for competition in the 8(a) Program and is restricted to competition of 8(a) firms in Colorado and Wyoming. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 56291 with a size standard of $11,500,000. The project is located at F.E. Warren AFB, WY and involves the abatement, removal and disposal of asbestos located at F.E. Warren AFB, WY, and missile sites in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska, in accordance with specifications, drawings and applicable state and federal regulations. Performance period for the requirements contract resulting from this solicitation will be the Basic Year with 1 Option Year period. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 2 May 2001 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) technique to arrive at the best value award decision. Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated.
