Description

DESC: 1005-01-431-8324, Part Number 12976909. Offerors are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all offerors are required to execute a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation posted on the web. The Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be signed by an official authorized to legally bind the company. Upon execution of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, return by mail (TACOM-RI, AMSTA-LC-CSC-A/Kathy Conklin, Rock Island, IL 61299-7630) or data fax to (309) 782-3813, Attn: Kathy Conklin. Upon receipt of the signed Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, a technical data package will be mailed to the offeror. The item to procure is an Adapter Assembly, Ammunition. Requirements are 438 each. FOB is Destination. End item identification: Machine Gun, 7.62mm, M240B. For use on the M197/M122A1 Mounts. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Estimated issue date is 04 May 2001. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
