Description
This is a market survey to locate potential commercial sources who can satisfy the a future requirement for a Floodlight Set (without power) characterized by: a ruggized skid mounted man portable transit container or containers of the telescoping mast; a waterproof illuminated control panel; connecting power cables or cables; floodlights fixtures with ballasts; and storage for other components. Operating characteristics: the telescoping mast withstand 50 MPH winds (gusts up to 75 MPH) and with a maximum extension of 30 feet, erected within 5 minutes or less, support the floodlight fixture, provide power 120 VAC or 220 VAC outlets: floodlight fixtures to provide up to 100,000 lumens of white light with a lateral spread of 105- 150 degrees, with a lamp life of 1200-1500 hours, able to mounted to the telescoping mast within 5 minutes, be of shockproof construction with an objective weight of 40 lbs; must be easily operated in adverse weather or operational conditions during a 12-18 hour work shift; must meet all Federal and National safety standards for grounding and electrical shock; must quick disconnect fittings for ease of operation and maintenance; components must be commercially available; must be able to use DOD Standard inventory generators or commercial international power sources; must be able to be mounted upon DA inventory trailers and be air transportable. The government does not have any drawings/specifications for these items. Suppliers capable of furnishing these exact items must so indicate in writing to: Commander, USACECOM; ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-MM (Frank Jasinski or Larry Rubel); Building 1200E; Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. Written responses must include supporting documentation; i.e., test results, product specifications, vendor statement that parts are physically and functionally interchangeable with other commercial items. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
