Description

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to co-sponsor the Third International Large Truck and Bus Safety Symposium. The FMCSA/FHWA intends to issue a Purchase Order to the University of Tennessee, Center for Transportation Research. The Symposium will consist of interaction with International and local researchers as well as peer reviewed research issues related to truck and bus safety. The FMCSA will submit and review research papers at this symposium. The University of Tennessee, Center for Transportation Research is conducting this symposium and is therefore considered the only known source. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about May 2, 2001.
