Description

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, supplies, accessories, and equipment, to operate, maintain, repair, and inspect one Government-owned Gulfstream G159 aircraft (G-1), and one Government-owned hangar facility located at the Vicksburg-Tallulah Regional Airport, Mound, Louisiana. The G-1 will be operated and maintained in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations for the particular category and class of aircraft, and the contract specifications. The G-1 currently operates under Subpart D of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 91. The hangar facility includes the aircraft storage area, offices, shop, restrooms, parts storage areas, furnishing, ground support equipment and surrounding grounds. The Base Year period of performance will be on or about 01 July 2001 through 30 June 2002. The resulting solicitation includes four (4) options periods. It is the Government's intent to make award without discussions. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Issue date on or about 03 May 01. Closing date on or about 04 Jun 01. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation and amendments (if any) will be available by accessing the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) web page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Hardcopies will not be available. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The proposed contract is unrestricted. The NAICS Code and Size Standard for this procurement are 481211 and 1,500 employees, respectively.
