Description

The USAID/CAR Regional Mission, based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, is seeking proposals to procure services of an experienced accounting professor to assist in the launching of the model accounting curriculum in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. This will require identifying appropriate texts, syllabus, class notes, exams and other materials required for teaching the curriculum. The specialist will negotiate with the publishers of such materials for the right to translate and print these materials in the Russian language. S/he will oversee the translation and printing of materials not currently available in the Russian language, as approved by the publishers. The specialist will train professors in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) and develop materials as required. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5 floppy disk (MS Word format).
