Description

This announcement is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to an approved sole source contractor in accordance with AFFAR 5313.106-1(a). The sole source contractor is dSpace Hardware Inc, 22260 Haggerty Road, Suite 120, Northville, MI 48167, and the requirement is for Rapid, Prototyping Control Development consisting of 1EA ACE1103- DS1103 PowerDC 604E/400MHZ controller board for the Department at the USAF Academy. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the required bundle. However, any contractors who believe that they have the capability to provide the necessary interface modules may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability that addresses all the customers requirements. The following are included with each bundle: Control development system, rapid prototyping, used in conjunction with the matlab real-time software and controls toolbox to convert matlab simulink block diagrams to real -- time C code which can be used on a variety of hardware and applications, to include: 1 each -- ACE1103 which consists 0f 0S1103 powerpc 604E/400mhz controller Board, 2MB SRAM, 32MB data log memory, adapter cables, COP1103 control development package and microtec c cross complier 1 each -- CLP1103 connector/led combination panel FOP, 0S1103, includes desktop case and cables 1 each -- PX10/814/815 expansion box with high speed seriel host interface consisting of DS814, PC-SIDE PCMCIA 0S815, and patch cable (9 slots free.) Offers are due by NLT 3:00 MST on 23 Apr 2001. If no favorable offers are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source.
