Description

1. The United States Air Force intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the lease of 1 each An-32B Antonov aircraft. Terms and conditions of Attachment A, An-32 Aircraft Lease Agreement with Incidental Services, shall be utilized. Proposal evaluation factors shall include the following: Past Performance and Cost or Price. Past performance shall be significantly more important than Cost or Price. Anticipated posting of the solicitation and lease to the Electronic Posting System is 26 April 2001. Resulting contract will be firm-fixed price with one (1) 6-month base period and two (2) 6-month option periods. Payment will be made via Government Purchase Card. This solicitation and lease will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. Select EPS for Vendors, USAF _ Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command _ Locations, 16th Contracting Squadron _ Classification Code. No paper copies will be furnished. This acquisition shall be 100 percent set-aside for small business. See numbered Note 1.
