Description

Sole Source Set-Aside. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to continue the operation of the Security Assessment and Training Center to include: maintain day-to-day operations of the SATC; complete SATC testing and evaluation of objective suites of equipment; compile test results and finalize suite selections; provide training to the Russian Ministry of Defense; complete command and control (C2) system testing; and prepare documentation. To establish these objectives, DTRA intends to modify Contract DTRA01-98-C-0014 to Bechtel National Incorporated (BNI), PO Box 193965 San Francisco, CA 94119-3965, the present incumbent, for an extension not to exceed 12-months and not to exceed $6 Million. DTRA believes that BNI is the only source possessing the necessary experience to continue this operation in Russia starting 1 July 2001. Note that this procurement is a modification to an existing contract under SIC code 8731. See Note 22. (Substitute 15-day proposal receipt period in lieu of 45-day period).
