Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to renovate the 2nd floor south wing in Bldg. #1 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The contractor must be qualified in hospital renovation to minimize the impact on the day to day operations of the hospital. The project includes asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work, etc. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code for this procurement is 233320. Estimated completion time for this project is 190-calendar days, the estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. The tentative issue date for bid packages is 05/114/01 and bid opening date is 06/11/01. All requests for bid packages must be submitted in writing, telephone requests will not be accepted. A non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be required prior to receiving bid package. Make checks payable to the VA Medical Center-Agent Cashier. There are a limited number of solicitation packages availabel and will be isssued on a first come basis .
