Description

Procurement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), one base year and three (3) Producer Price Index option years. Items are to be shipped to various destinations: Stock, Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD), Government Impac Card orders and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) on a FOB destination basis. Any interested party requiring additional information can contact the contracting officer for complete details. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Nots 12 and 26 apply. This solicitation is an RFP and IFB and will be avialable on the internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 10 May 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Sepcifications, plans and drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed four (4) years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class: 1005, 2520, 3020, 4720. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
