Description

The US ARMY TACOM-ARDEC is seeking qualified businesses who can respond to a request for proposal (RFP) for the manufacture, inspection, testing, and delivery of parachutes for the 60mm M767/721, 81mm XM816, and 120mm M983/XM930 Mortars Systems. The Contractor shall manufacture 19,981 60mm, 1,040 60mm test assets, and 1,000 120mm parachutes for the base year. Initial delivery of the basic quantities will be from eight (8) to twelve (12) months after contract award. A Firm, Fixed Price contract is contemplated with a basic period of performance of one (1) year with five (5) option periods. In the option periods, there are provisions to purchase parachutes for the 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars Systems. Responses shall be addressed to the above named Contract Specialist at US Army TACOM-ARDEC, AMSTA-AQ-APC, BLDG. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. The Contractor is required to fabricate the components in accordance with Government drawings. This solicitation should be available on or about 11 May 01.
