Description

The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ergotech Ergonomic Consultants, of Pretoria, South Africa, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A quantity of 1 each, complete AMS Measurement Instrument to include delivery to Natick, software, license and manuals. A quantity of 1 each, on site assistance and training. A quantity of 1 each, AMS Software programming of up to 20 clothing items. A quantity of 1 each, additional on site assistance and training. A quantity of 1 each, additional AMS programming if more than 20 clothing items are to be included. This hardware, software, programming, and services will be utilized for research and development purposes to implement a pilot project for automated clothing size determination in Army clothing issuing facilities. Electronic and mechanical body measurement instrument and associated software for automatic clothing size determination and data storage. The AMS is a unique, proprietary hardware and software system developed and manufactured only by Ergotech.
