Description
NASA/LaRC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for a Diode-Pumped Stable Laser with the following specifications: Stable diode pumped laser source. The unit shall have high stability, single mode with low amplitude noise, and low power consumption. The unit shall also possess the following operational characteristics: a) Wavelength: dual line output at 532 nm & 1064 nm; b) CW output power: 25-50 mW; c) Output stability (rms): 2% over two hours or less; d) Transverse beam mode: TEM00; e) Beam divergence, full angle: 2 mrad or less; f) Beam diameter (1/e2): 0.25 to 0.50 mm; g) Beam pointing stability, after warm-up: <0.02 mrad; h) Polarization ratio: <100:1; i) Longitudinal mode: single longitudinal mode; j) Output noise (rms, 10Hz to 50 MHz): <0.5%; k) Linewidth: <10-5 nm; l) Instantaneous linewidth: <20 kHz; m) Frequency drift, at constant temperature: 100 MHz over one hour; n) Operation temperature: 10 C. to 35 C; o) Warm-up time: < 5 minutes; p) Operation voltage: 100-240 VAC, or 12 VDC; q) Power consumption: 10W, typ.; r) Expected lifetime: >10,000 hours No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these cites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business (i.e.large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned) Technical questions should be directed to l.p.kopia@larc.nasa.gov. Procurement related questions should be directed to r.i.hollifield@larc.nasa.gov. Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product.
