Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to WorldWinds, Inc., Building 1100, Suite 122, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, to provide technical services, including survey, model verification, software maintenance and model support for COAMPS and MM5 operations for the Northern Gulf of Mexico Littoral Initiative (NGLI). Period of performance shall be for period of approximately 7.5 months, ending 30 Nov 2001. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is that thereis only one responsible source and no other source posses the capabilities to satisfy the requirements of this Command. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
