Description
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations having the capability to provide all of the necessary logistical support for approximately 33 scientific meetings during a one-year base contract; approximately 66 scientific meetings during each of two 2-year option periods; and, a conference option that may be exercised once per year for the life of the contract. Approximately one-third of the scientific meetings will require graphic, editorial, and other services necessary for the development of a publication. A variety of other publications also will be required. It is anticipated that one (1) cost-plus-fixed-fee, completion-type contract will be awarded for a period of one year with two 2-year option periods. A conference option also will be included. RFP No. N01DA-1-1106 will be available electronically on or about May 7, 2001, and may be accessed through the NIDA website at the following address: (URL: http://www.nida.nih.gov/RFP/RFPList.html). All information required for the submission of an offer will be contained in the electronic RFP package. Please note that the RFP for this requisition will be streamlined to include only the Work Statement, Deliverables and Reporting Requirements, Special Requirements and Mandatory Qualifications, Technical Evaluation Criteria, and other necessary Proposal Preparation Instructions. Response to the RFP will be due on or about June 11, 2001. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for Small, Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns, expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. Offers from concerns other than SDBs eligible for award pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act will not be considered. See numbered Note 26.
