Description

This sources sought announcement is seeking businesses that are capable of providing packing, crating, drayage of households goods for the Consolidated Personal Property Division, Norfolk, Virginia. This is an attempt to survey the market for potential Small Business and Small Business Concerns that are HUBZone certified under NAICS code 484210 and have the management staff, material, facility and equipment necessary to fulfill the requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS, estimated quantities for the base and option year and the Government minimum and maximum needs per day will be posted on the FISC Norfolk Website under N00189-01-R-0030 can ONLY be available by downloading the documents from FISC Norfolk Website: http://www.nor.fisc.navy mil/contracts/solicitation. This announcement will be opened for a brief period 19 April 2001 through 30 April 2001. Potential offerors must respond prior to closing date. Offeror may contact the Contract Specialist via e-mail: marchetta_a_smith@nor.fisc.navy.mil or the Contracting Officer: marlene_k_chambley@nor.fisc.navy.mil and provide the following information: name and address of Business, Point of Contact, telephone number, business size and certification, and facility square footage for temporary holding of household goods in the Hampton Roads area. The vendor by submitting the requested information will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the vendor as a potential bidder/offeror.
