Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for supplies and services in support of the T-45 Training System. NAVAIRSYSCOM intends to obtain these supplies and services from McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, the designer, developer and sole manufacturer/integrator of the T-45C and the only firm with the requisite knowledge and expertise to perform the effort. The estimated period of performance is 15 June 2001 through 14 June 2002 with potential for two one-year extensions. See Notes No. 22 and 26.
