Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest, Olympia, WA is issuing requests for quotations to complete Hankin and Reeves stream surveys for the Hood Canal Ranger District, Hoodsport, WA. Starting work date is on or about July 1, 2001 with approximately 170 days to complete the work. Approximately 30 miles of stream surveys will be completed. Survey areas include Canyon River, Middle Fork Satsop River and larger tributaries to each. Location is north of Matlock, WA. Access survey areas via Forest Service Roads 2360, 2368, and 2341 from the South, and Forest Service Roads 23 and 2350 from the North. It should be noted that some roads are closed to traffic. Data collected must be summarized into reports using format guidelines. This solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Items Request for Quotations in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Service Contract Act applies to this acquisition. The acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 11531 with a size standard of $5.0M. Solicitation #R6-OLY-1-11 will be issued on or about 15 May 2001 with quotations due 31 May 2001.
