Description

The Commerce Business Daily announcements for Digital Voice Telecommunications Systems/Services, published December 13, 2000 are hereby cancelled in their entirety. The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) announced their intent to solicit and award a contract to Bell South Telecommunications, Inc. and Southwestern Bell Telephone for local telephone services. GAO has determined that the Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA) Program administered by the General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service is the best suitable option for this requirement; therefore, GAO will procure the required services under the GSA MAA program.
