Description

NOTE: Two CBD announcements appear for this requirement (Information Systems Web Technology Officer). The first announcement contains an incorrect solicitation number of DFOH-148(1)-NAHC. Please note that the CORRECT SOLICITATION NUMBER IS: DFOH-151(1)-NAHC. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)/Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Contract Operations Branch has a requirement to acquire the services of an individual to be the Information Systems Web Technology Officer for the Division of Federal Occupational Health (DFOH), Bureau of Primary Health Care (BHPC). HRSA intends to award a Personal Services contract in accordance with FOH's statutory authority. The Contractor shall serve as the Information Systems Web Technology Officer (in the Seattle, Washington FOH Area Office) and shall exercise primary responsibility for providing technical leadership to ensure the successful design, implementation, and operation of FOH's web based automated systems. The period of performance is for a base year with four one-year options. Qualified individuals must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline; twelve years of experience in information systems development, implementation and operation activities; and six years of experience in providing a broad array of MIS strategic planning, system design and development and project leadership responsibilities of medium to large IT projects (defined as projects over $500,000). Three of the six years must involve web based technologies in both Government and the private sector. The solicitation will be issued on or about 05/07/01.
