Description

The Government proposes to acquire 52 pairs of Longbow handgrips in support of Apache Longbow Lot 7 Production, with an option for 74 pairs (Lot 8), 64 pairs (Lot 9), and 19 pairs (Lot 10). The intended source is Mason Electric Company, San Fernando, CA, which is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the handgrips. The authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. The Mason Electric Company part numbers are 722-0405, left handgrip, and 722-0406, right handgrip. Delivery shall begin in April 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered Notes(s): 22,23.
