Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00181-01-Q-0317 applies. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The NAICS is 334516 with a small business size of 500 employees. The requirement is for a fixed price contract for the following items: CLIN 0001: Petroleum Analyzer Company, HERZOG HDA628 Automatic Distillation Analyzer, Catalog No. 6282-000-00, Qty (1) each; CLIN 0002: Petroleum Analyzer Company, HERZOG HDA627 Add-On Distillation unit for HDA628, Catalog No. 6272-000-00, Qty (1) each; CLIN 0003: Dell Pentium Desktop PC (latest model), Qty (1) each; CLIN 0004: HP DESKJET 694 Printer, P/N HP600C, Qty (1) each; CLIN 0005: Printer Cable, PC401, Qty (1) each. Delivery shall be FOB destination, NNSY, Portsmouth, VA 23709. Inspection/acceptance at destination. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52-212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (1) (5), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17) and (22) apply. DFAR 252.212.7001 and DFAR 252.204-7004 "REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION" apply to this acquisition. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Info can be obtained through internet at http://ccr2000.com. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3. Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. Offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance. The Navy's contractor evaluation system, Red/Yellow/Green Program will apply in the evaluation process. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. company letterhead, formal quote form, etc) but must include the following: 1) complete mailing/remittance address; 2) prompt payment discount; 3) anticipated delivery; 4) Taxpayer Identification Number; 5) All completed certifications as required as required herein. All quotations must be received by 2:00 PM, local time, 11 May 2001.
