Description

The 10th Air Base Wing, Operational Contracting Office, USAF Academy Colorado issues this synopsis to conduct market research and determine if sources are capable of satisfying the Academy's requirement with commercial items for elevator maintenance and repair. The requirement is for repair and maintenance of $1.2 M of the following types/kinds of equipment: 32 Passenger Elevators (19 cable, 13 hydraulic), 19 freight elevators (14 hydraulic, 5 cable), 4 dumbwaiters (cable), 2 handicapped lifts (electrical), 5 freight lifts (hydraulic), and 14 dock levelers (4 mechanical, 10 hydraulic). Items listed are manufactured by Montgomery, Otis, Dover, Haughton, O'Keefe, Schindler, Mid American, Westinghouse, Kone Elevators, Equipment Company of America, Access Industries, PFlow Industries, Forklift systems, Dock Leveler, Rite Hite, DA Matt, Kelley and Autoquip Corp. The NAICS code proposed is 235950 and the business size standard is $11.5M. If this NAICS code is used in error or, if another NAICS is available, please advise. Please provide information concerning commercial Performance Work Statements, Statement of Work or Objective preparation and contents; commercial quality control and surveillance practices; current commercial work efforts to include current contract names and numbers; business size standards; and any other pertinent information concerning the requirement's commercial applicability.
