Description

The North Texas Veterans Health Care System, seeks sources to provide, for acquisition, one (1) re-furbished bus. MFG: Provost, MCI, Blue Bird LTC40, Eagle or equal type. Offerors must have complete maintenance records for offered bus. Models offered with a make year 1985 and below will not be accepted. Awarded Contractor will accept a Government-owned 1991 Blue Bird, Diesel, 42 passenger bus with a wheelchair lift, as a trade-in towards the purchase cost of the re-furbished bus. The VA anticipates making a single award. This is a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in acordance with the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. This solicitation is unrestricted and offers will be accepted from all sources. A request for proposals will be issued on or about 5/10/01 and offers will be due as specified in the solicitation, anticipated to be on or about 6/11/01.
