Description

(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation FQ487711020100 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under standard industrial classification code 3523 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NIACS) 333111, size standard 500 employees. (V) Line Item 1: BRAND NAME or EQUAL: Weedseeker, National Stock Number 3740-01-474-7367, weedseeker spray system, complete DB210 weedseeker system, including 55 gallon chemical tank, 14 gallon fresh water tank, and 12V pump, installed on a folding and breakaway boom, all mounted on 6X4 John Deer Gator, with heavy duty alternator. System should include 10 sensors, 10 valve cartridges, 1CP controller, associated electric cables and plumbing. (VII) Delivery will be made by 30 May 01. Place of delivery: 355 Civil Engineering Squadron, 3791 S. Third St. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerers- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document.
