- Description
- This notice is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a formal Request for Quotation (RFQ 500-35-01) and a written solicitation will not be issued. It incorporates the clauses and provisions that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. Quotes should be submitted for the following item: Nonmydriatic Camera. It should meet the following technical specifications: Angle of Coverage: 45 , 30 , switchable with a lever; Working Distance: 42mm; Pupil Diameter for Photography: 4.0 mm or more; Patient Diopter Correction Range: Without correction lens: -15D to +12D (where split lines are used) With minus correction lens: -14D to -37D with plus correction lens: + 11D to +41 D; Pupil Positioning: The anterior portion of the eye can be observed. (A scale is provided to check the pupil for diameter and to position the pupil.); Focusing: By split lines to be focused on the retina; Setting the Working Distance: With 2 bright spots; Fixation Target: Internal target (9 fixed points, selectable image/target adjustment to achieve "mosaic" 85 degree peripheral field) or External target-selectable; Data Picturing: Simultaneously nameplate imaging; Light Source: Halogen lamp for observation 8V, 50 W Xenon lamp for photography DC280V, 300Wsec; Automatic Shut Off Mechanism: Power saving system; TV Camera: Sony 390 3 chip CCD Camera; Video Monitor: 5.7 inch color LCD monitor; Compatibility: Captured images in the Topcon Imagenet (Mydriatic FA and Color capture stations) software are compatible directly to Imagenet Lit (Non Mydriatric Telemedicine) software; Cross-slide Vertical Travel: 30mm; Chinrest Vertical Travel: 60mm, motorized elevation control for chinrest; Power Source: Frequency 50/60 Hz Voltage AC 100, 120, 220, 240 V selectable; Weight: Body: 24.7kg TV relay lens: 1.1kg; Dimensions: 304Wx567Dx606H mm with Polaroid attachment; Power Consumption: 220VA (Maximum) 140VA (Normal); Training: User and Biomedical Repair. Quotes received shall specify FOB destination. Include warranty information. The VA plans to purchase 1 unit now with the intend to purchase an additional (5) within the next fiscal year. The following factors, in descending order of importance, will be used to evaluate the quotes: (1) technical ability, (2) lowest priced quotations, and (3) delivery schedule.
