Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number NMA402-01-T-0016 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is as follows: Item 0001, Qty 15 each, 4 Bay 8X CD-R Duplicator with PC/Windows NT Software included. This duplicator needs to be equal to the Extreme Technologies Inc P/N XD06-01P4 8X SuperDuper CD-R Drive/Duplicator 4 Bay. This Duplicator needs to come with four (4)8X CD Writers and an Internal Hard Drive ensuring fast, reliable copies of CD's without needing a computer. Simply load a CD into the top CD-R writer push "Copy CD to HD" on the simple-to-use illuminated LCD menu, and the CD Image will be copied to the Internal hard drive. Multiple images may be stored on the internal hard drive if future copies are needed. This duplicator must use an intelligent firmware-driven controller allowing reliable, fast copies of even difficult formats. Needs to be an option to connect to a computer with a 50-pin centronics SCSI connection. Other features inlcude audio extraction, for taking tracs off multiple discs for use on one compilation disc; the ability to slow down or speed up the CD-R writer speeds; verify and format hard drive options; and automatic CD to hard drive to CD duplication, to eliminate the middle step of manually copying from hard drive to CD. The duplciator needs to come with a one year warranty. This item must be Year 2000 compliant in accordance with FAR Part 39.002 and the provisions at DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
