- Description
- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for International Space Station Program cost/schedule development, analysis, integration, and implementation. The contractor shall maintain non-prime program participant schedules in the Common Schedules Database (CSD) and review prime contractor schedules for adequacy and accuracy. The contractor shall develop and maintain Level 1 schedules for the entire ISS Program, level 2 schedules for utilization and logistics flights, as well as, flight-by-flight top level schedules, analysis, metrics, and critical path schedule analyses. Additionally, the contractor shall provide schedule/cost assessments for the Program Operating Plan (POP) and Earned at Completion (EAC)reviews. The contractor shall also provide system analyses, cost/schedule assessments and risk analyses for the Shuttle Upgrades Office, as well as, analyses of team schedules for the Cargo Planning and Imagery (CPI) Team and the Cargo Integration and Processing (CIP) Team. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total 8(a) set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 54133 and $20M, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The provisions and clauses in the RFO and model contract are those in effect through FAC 97-24. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about May 15, 2001 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about June 15, 2001. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
