Description

This a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Veterans Administration, Service and Distribution Center, located at the corner of 1st Avenue and Cermark (also known as 22nd Street), Hines, Illinois, has roof space available for leasing to interested parties to erect any type of communications tower(s), long term. The building is part of the Hines Hospital Complex, which is co-located with the Loyola Medical Complex. The building is a single story structure constructed approximately in 1940. The roof has approximately nine acres of flat space. The roof is made of concrete covered steel which is covered with a membrane material. Any vendor leasing roof space shall be responsible for the erection and maintenance of any tower(s) as well as securing frequency clearances. Any interested party is requested to voluntarily submit information as requested below. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation resulting from this sources sought announcement. Do not telephone the issuing office. Interested parties should fax a brief written description of the types of towers, including sizes and the nature, as well as a sampling of what leases cost in the general vicinity and the lenght of leases.
